Network Marketing Prospecting Tips-How to Avoid Confusing Presentations and Hit Daily Targets

Today's prospecting tips has to do with learning to be more precise and speak with clarity when  speaking to prospects as well as the importance of having daily prospecting goals.

In order for our business's to grow, we must learn the basic skills in these areas. If we do, we will end the year on a great note as well as have an excellent start to 2015.

One of my favorite mentors, Tom Schreiter, will now share how this all works. Remember to visit the business resources below, especially the free ebook, Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy which will save you years of failure and frustration as you look to create additional income from home.

Monique Hawkins

Confusing presentations.
There are two times when a prospect is confused about a network marketing opportunity.
Before the presentation and after the presentation.
While we are talking about the wonderful company, the wonderful industry, the wonderful products, the wonderful training and the wonderful compensation plan, our prospect normally isn't listening. What is the prospect thinking?
"How long will this last?"
"Are you a salesman?"
"When are you going to get to the point?"
"How much is this going to cost?"
"How can I be sure I will be successful?"
So how can we overcome this problem?
Using a "One-Minute Presentation" or a "Two-Minute Story" or even better presentation techniques can help. We want to give the complete overview of the decision first. Why?
Ask yourself, "When do prospects actually make their decision?" And if we observe properly, the decision happens quickly - in the first few seconds. So that is why we should manage this time to our advantage.
What is the best way to improve our skills here? Simply record the first 60 seconds of your presentation and ask yourself, "How would I respond if someone told that to me?"
* * * * * *
"If you aim at nothing then you will hit it with surprising accuracy every time."
So how did you start this morning? Did you have a clear focus on exactly what you wanted to accomplish today? For example:
* Start a relationship with one good prospect before noon.
* Eat lunch with your best prospect.
* Pass out five samples to five quality prospects.
* Have two new guests at tonight's opportunity meeting.
Or, did you avoid building your business and became a "manager?" For example:
* Checked your back office three times.
* Took pictures for a new brochure idea.
* Started yet another Facebook group for people to hide in, avoiding prospecting.
* Listened to an extra motivational CD.
* Checked your email inbox six times.
* Posted funny quotes at social networking sites.
Management mode is dangerous. Our building stops, our momentum stops, and our downline duplicates management mode.
