Network Marketing Tips-Why Your Prospects Say "No"!

If you have been in mlm for awhile, I am sure you have heard your share of "no's! It can be so frustrating. The prospect seem to be interested, they are asking questions, they look  like they are ready to join, and then all of a sudden they say things like, "I have to think about it", "I have to talk to my husband", etc. Most times, these phrases are the special code for "heck no!"

I was just reading Tom Schreiter's "Big Al Report" and he shared some thoughts on why this is so. After you read what Tom says, it does make sense.

Your prospect agrees that your opportunity is the greatest thing to happen in the history of human civilization. And then your prospect tells you ...


How is that possible?

What is going on in your prospect's mind?

Just read this short lesson to see exactly how you "break the code" and guarantee a sale.

Because he hates risk. Nobody likes risk.

And what could go wrong for your prospects? Well . . .
* They could join and not like the product.

* They could join and waste their money on a distributor kit they won't use.

* They could join and look foolish when their friends turn them down.
Risk is the biggest fear in your prospect's mind . . . and you can remove this fear and make your prospect feel comfortable. Simply remind them of and reinforce your guarantee before you give your presentation.

If your product or service has a guarantee, make sure your prospect knows that he is trying it on a no-risk trial basis.

If your distributor kit has a 60-day money-back guarantee, make sure your prospect knows that he has 60 days to see if the business is really for him.

And if your prospect is afraid of looking foolish when his friends turn him down? Well, sometimes you can't remove every risk -- but you can try. Maybe a little coaching or training will help. Or better yet, why don't you make the presentation while your new distributor observes?

Does removing risks really work?

Like a magic charm. I use it all the time. For example, I was trying to make a $3,000 sale to a friend of mine for nine months. No deal. He wasn't sure he'd get $3,000 worth of value. So last month I made a different offer. I removed the risk.

I said, "Make a $22,000 order and don't pay me until this order makes you at least $22,000."

The result: A $22,000 order on the spot.

The moral is:

Make your prospect's decision easy by removing his risk. This makes your sponsoring, retailing and promoting so much easier.
