Are you "over the hill" and using ancient techniques?

"A lot of times we get caught up in asking ourselves, “What are other people doing out there that might be better than what I am doing?”

We work a little while on one project for a few weeks, and when we don’t see the instantaneous results we think we deserve, we are on to the next thing that will suck money out of our business, and then the next, and the next …

If you truly want to succeed at anything, you have to master one thing really well.

Look at professional football. How many players are good at all the positions? Actually none. The ones that get paid very well are good at one position. Even when they move from team to team, they play the same position.

Now what about you?

What position do you want to play and get very good at playing?

This comes down to selecting a marketing plan and following it without distraction. It is so easy on the Internet to get sucked into so many ways to market that you will soon find out you don’t have enough time in the day or money in your bank account to properly test it and find out if it actually works.

What you don’t know is that many times the majority of people promoting the concepts haven’t even used the system they promote. They just got a complimentary copy to review and send out to their lists.

So where do you want to end up at the end of the day – attempting to play the field and hoping you win the lottery or focusing in on one thing that works well and becoming a highly paid professional in your industry?

It is a simple choice to make.

The first one leaves you without much chance of success and the second one leads you to reaching your dreams. I want to encourage everyone to stay the course, pick one thing and do it well.

I love the marketing method I now use because I hate and now refuse to make cold calls to anyone unless they have come through a web page and responded to my own advertisements.

While the bright shiny objects are cool to look at, I guarantee they won’t pay the bills.

I am glad to read about the fellow who recently achieved his Diamond position. He didn’t get distracted. He just chose to follow a path that has worked.

Select your path and stay with it.

Drop out of as many email subscriptions as possible. You will be amazed at the time savings you will have when you do it!"

Network Marketing Prospecting-How to Use the $1 Coupon for Instant Retail Sales

Tom, Big Al, Schreiter always comes up with creative network marketing prospecting tips! I recently received his "Big Al Report" and in it he talked about how to use the $1 coupon for instant retail sales.

As usual in Big Al's world, all of this is about learning the skills and being creative, so you as a rep can always keep your mlm business in motion!

So, let's learn how to use the $1 coupon technique!

The $1 coupon for instant retail sales.

Most coupons are boring. They seldom motivate prospects.

But what could be more exciting than receiving a crisp, new $1 bill?

Instead of creating a printed coupon, give your prospect a crisp, new $1 bill and call it your special coupon.

Here is an example . . .

At the end of your retail diet product presentation you say:
"Mr. Prospect, that's our wonderful diet product. And I have a wonderful coupon to give you as my 'thank you' for giving me your time. Here is a crisp, new $1 bill - your coupon.

"Now you can use this coupon three ways.

"First, you might decide that you don't want to lose weight. Then you might use this crisp, new $1 bill coupon to purchase your favorite candy bar. Well, you'll gain a little weight, but at least you'll enjoy using the coupon, right?

"Second, you might decide that you don't want to lose weight but that you'd like to frame this coupon and put it on your wall. It will look nice and you can enjoy viewing this coupon while wishing that you could lose some weight.

"Third, you might decide that you want to lose weight now. Then you could use this coupon to get our complete diet product package at preferred customer prices - saving you almost $23!

Network Marketing Prospecting -What do all of your presentations have in common?

When it comes to the master of network marketing prospecting, I always have to look to one of my mentors, Tom, Big Al, Schreiter. Tom is great because he is hysterically funny and teachers skills that will grow any our businesses's if we just apply them!

One of the most important skills you gotta learn is to give an effective presentation to your mlm prospects. You also gotta learn to grab their attention quickly initially so you can get into your presentation.

Today, you will learn from Big Al exactly how to do these things and do them well! So sit back, take some notes, and let's listen to what Tom has to day.

Q. What do all of your presentations have in common?

A. They all offer time freedom and money freedom.

You will never have a prospect tell you:
"Oh, I don't want to join because I don't want any of that time freedom or money freedom. I think I'd like more debt, less money, and more time at work."
Sounds silly, doesn't it?

Well, if all of your prospects want time freedom and money freedom, and your presentation offers time freedom and money freedom, then why don't all of your prospects join?

Because they don't have the confidence that they can personally achieve time freedom and money freedom with your opportunity. Sure, you can do it, but they don't think they can do it.

Now here is the key. When prospects don't have the confidence that they have the skills necessary for our opportunity, here is what most people do:

They start introducing new benefits.

They tell the prospect about three-way calls, nice brochures, perfect videos, fancy meetings, car bonuses, and lots of other nice benefits. But they are missing the point.

The prospect doesn't think he can do it, so it doesn't matter how good the benefits are.

The solution?

Instead of talking about more benefits, concentrate on showing your prospect how simple it can be to do your business. Maybe you can give your prospect one of Big Al's "one-minute presentations."

Give your prospect confidence that he can be successful in your business. That's what is holding your prospect back -- confidence.

Here are EIGHT more great first sentences and headlines.

I think today's network marketing training tip you will find highly useful, especially if you are currently are a member of Facebook and have some knowledge of how that massive social networking site works.

Network Marketing List-How to Use You the Tube Bounce back to Grow Your MLM Leads List and Business

If you are a network marketer who is building your mlm business online and desire to generate quality mlm leads and fresh mlm leads, most people know that video marketing is a great tool to use.

Why do most people, meaning marketers, say this? How can video marketing not only generate mlm leads but some of the best mlm leads?

Well, according to Forrester Research, which is a leading source of business intelligence and research on the web, a report done in 2009 states that “on the keywords for which Google offers video results, any given video in the index stands about a 50 times better chance of appearing on the first page of results than any given text page in the index.”

I hope you caught the significance of this statement. This means for you as a network marketer looking to build your business online, it is much easier to get a first page ranking by Google by “sneaking” into their back door by posting optimized videos on You Tube and other video sharing sties than it is to optimize a blog of static page on a website.

This is great news as everybody knows it’s better to generate your own targeted mlm leads than to buy mlm leads even if they are cheap mlm leads. Video marketing will do this for you.
Now that you understand why everybody (marketers) says that video marketing is the way to go, if you are like most people, you likely want to know how to use videos to create opt-in mlm leads.

This is where the “You Tube Bounceback” comes into play. This simply means you bounce the people or leads back from your videos into your sales funnel.

The sales funnel for most of us in mlm might be a blog, Squidoo lens, Hubpage, etc. about the mlm company, products, and/or services. This also means that for every video you post to You Tube, you should have a clear “call to action” message to guide your mlm network marketing leads to your funnel. The call of action could be a number of things such as signing up for a free weekly newsletter, giving away a free ebook, offering a free report about the benefits of a home-based business opportunity, giving away free pamphlets about your products or services, ets. All of these are ways to build a list of fresh mlm leads. After all, everybody says the best m lm leads are the one you create yourself.

Now that you know what the “You Tube Bounceback” is, how to leverage it, and how it can help you create targeted mlm leads which a great targeted mlm leads list, here are a couple of things to be sure to do when creating your video campaign:

1. Figure out what your video message will be. It should be something t hat network marketers really want to know about. Topics like how to get fst mlm leads, qualified mlm leads, strategies for effective lead generation would be of interest to most reps.

2. Complete a video cheat sheet about what your video topic will be, outline what you will say, and create a powerful call to action.

3. Optimize your video by doing the following:

-Have the primary keyword phrase in the title
-Have the primary and secondary keywords in the description
-Have the primary and secondary keywords in the “tag”
-Encourage people to comment on the video
-Encourage people to favorite your video
-Drive as many viewers to your videos as possible
-Encourage people to leave “Like” or “thumbs up” for your video
-Link videos from external sites and blogs with the primary keyword phrase in the anchor text

Everybody knows video marketing can be a fantastic way to gather free mlm business leads and is a great mlm lead generation tool if a rep has a powerful call to action. Tip 4: Use Related Keyword Tags
--------------------------------------------------

Next up is using related keywords as the tags for
your blog posts.

Tags are a mechanism that WordPress uses to help
organize your content and to help people find your
posts when searching for it on your blog.

But another benefit of using tags is that Google
also apparently gives preference to tags when
crawling your site. (I say "apparently" because no
one outside of Google really knows the exact rules
of their algorithms).

You can use the same keywords that you use inside
your blog headlines/titles, but you will cover an
even wider audience if you use other related
keywords. In other words, keywords that you have
not used inside your post or headline/title yet,
but that still relate to your content.

For example, if you write a post about Michael
Jackson, and you have not used the term "pop
music" anywhere inside your post, that would be an
excellent related keyword as a tag.

You can add tags inside your WordPress admin area
when creating or editing posts or pages.

Tip 5: Install SEO Plugins
--------------------------------------------------

If you don't have an optimized blog theme
installed, like the Thesis Theme, it's a good idea
to install two more plugins that will help you
optimize your blog for search engines.

The first one is the SEO Title Tag Plugin, which
essentially optimizes your blog title's for search
engines - instead of your blog name appearing
first inside your blog titles, the SEO Title Tag
plugin will modify the code of your theme so that
your blog post titles appear first, with your blog
name after it.

Remember, Google gives preference to whatever
keywords you use at the front of your blog post
titles. So by moving your blog name to the back of
your blog titles automatically, this automatically
optimizes your blog post titles.

The second plugin you can install is the XML
Sitemap Generator plugin.

It basically creates an easily readable "XML
sitemap" for your blog so that Google can easily
crawl it and list you in their directory.

Don't worry if this sounds too technical or
complicated - just know that it's great plugin to
help make it easy for Google to find all the pages
and posts on your blog.

Tip 6: Link To Other Posts And Pages In Your Blog
--------------------------------------------------

This is another sneaky little tip that makes sense
once you understand how Google looks at your
website.

Basically, Google views each of the posts and
pages on your blog as a separate entity. And
because of this, it creates a separate "page rank"
for each of your posts and pages by treating them
in isolation.

That's why sometimes, when you look at some blogs,
their home page could have a page rank of 6, but
then their About page may only have a page rank of
2 or 3.

So, knowing this bit of information, you can use
it to your advantage by creating links to and from
your posts and pages.

When you do this, and Google crawls a specific
post on your site, and you happen to link back to
another post, Google will follow along that link
and pass on some "page rank juice".

I'm just using simple terms here to try and
explain this in the most simple way. So, if you
don't quite fully understand all of this, don't
worry about it too much.

But just make sure your regularly link back to
other posts and pages when you create new content.

For example, say you create a new post, and while
you're creating it, you remember that you talked
about a related topic on a previous post. You can
then simply link back to that previous post and
that will do the job.

And that's all there really is to it.

If you do this, it will help the Google bot
understand how content in your blog relate to each
other, and as a result provide you with better
overall rankings.

7: Just Write Naturally
--------------------------------------------------

Google LOVES relevant content!

In other words, when you do a search for something
like "beach gear", the last thing you want to find
popping up as the #1 search result is a website
about an unrelated topic such as "marine life".

What some people do, is to "stuff" their pages
with a whole bunch of keywords "unnaturally" in
the hope that Google and other search engines will
pick up on it and start ranking their pages.

But the algorithms employed by these search
engines are pretty clever, and nowadays can tell
if you're just stuffing your pages with a bunch of
keywords.

Think about it...

It's absolutely critical that Google always
delivers RELEVANT content to their users.

And the best way that you can guarantee this
relevant kind of content, is to simply engage in
creating natural content.

In other words, don't worry about stuffing your
posts with a bunch of keywords to try and please
the search engines.

Just write as you normally would, and then as a
result, your content will contain all the related
keywords you need for ranking with Google and
other search engines.

Tip 8: Get High Quality Incoming Links To Your
Blog
--------------------------------------------------

One of the best ways of creating a search engine
optimized blog is to make sure you get as many as
possible high quality websites linking back to
your blog.

For example, say your blog is in the soft drinks
niche. If you can somehow get Coca Cola (which
would be a very popular website with high page
rank) to link to your blog, that would give you
instant "credibility" with Google.

Obviously though, it's not always easy to get
other popular websites and blogs to link back to
your own, but over time, if you consistently
deliver value on your blog and become involved in
your community, people will naturally start
linking back to your blog.

Of course, if you really want to, you can take on
a more active role, and actively seek other
popular websites and blogs to link back to yours.

One great strategy for this is to create guest
posts for other popular blogs and then to link
back to your own blog at the end - you don't want
to make it too obvious :)

Over time, if other blogs keep on linking back to
you, your own blog will appear more "relevant" to
Google, and as a result, your rankings inside
Google searches will start rising.

Tip 9: Aim For The Long Tail
--------------------------------------------------

In the ever increasing competitive online world,
it has become very hard to rank for certain
popular keywords in popular niches.

But that does not mean you cannot get ranked for
other keywords, known as "long tail keywords" in
those same niches.

What's a "long tail keyword" you ask?

The concept of the long tail was first coined by
Chris Anderson who wrote an article inside Wired
Magazine, which eventually lead him to publish a
book called "The Long Tail".

In the context of keywords on the internet, the
long tail refers to those kind of keywords phrases
that are not considered "main stream" keywords
phrases.

For example, "fat loss" would not be considered a
long tail keyword phrase. But "fat loss for
pregnant mothers" is a long tail keyword phrase.

Do you see the difference? The long tail keyword
phrases are A LOT more specific and targeted than
the more popular phrases.

What this means is that you will rank much easier
for these long tail keyword phrases. The only
catch is that they wont get as much traffic as the
more popular keyword phrases.

But over the long run, if you keep on creating new
posts for your blog, targeting long tail keyword
phrases, that would amount to a very nice and
steady stream of traffic back to your blog.

This one is pretty straight forward...

Whenever you create a new post or page, always
make sure you add your targeted keywords inside
the headlines/titles.

And for even better results you can add your
keywords right at the front of the
headlines/titles of your blog posts.

This will help because Google and other search
engines give preference to keywords at the
beginning of your headlines/titles.

This is easy and simple to do, and it will help
you improve the chances of ranking for your
selected keywords by leaps and bounds.

Tip 3: Use H2 Tags

The H2 Tag is really just a fancy name for a type
of heading that you can use inside your blog posts
and pages.

It's like a sub-heading really, but Google and
other search engines gives it a similar "priority"
as your headlines/titles when looking at your blog
content.

So, instead of just making sub headings bold in
your blog posts, consider turning them into proper
"H2" headings.

You can do this by selecting one of the paragraph
options inside your WordPress Admin area when
creating or editing a post.

Network Marketing Training Tips- How to Drive Hordes of Traffic To Your Blog Part 1

As someone who is doing network marketing today, one thing you must learn to become good at is writing. A blog is a great way to not only connect and share with others, but also a great tool to to build your mlm business.

If you have a blog, one thing you must master is how to drive hordes of traffic to it. If people like what you say, you can get some great mlm prospects from it.

Gideon Shadwick has some great tips on how to create content and generate traffic. If you do what he says, you will see success.

Roll up your sleeves because there are 9 tips you can begin to use today if you use a blog for network marketing prospecting.

Tip 1: Benchmark your blog with other popular
sites
--------------------------------------------------

Benchmarking your site with other popular sites is
one of the easiest ways of optimizing your blog
for search engines.

What is benchmarking?

Simple... all you do, is have a look at the
keywords and content that other popular websites
in your niche are using, and then you use those
same ones and add your own keywords and content to
the mix.

For example, say you have a new blog in the magic
niche. You could quickly do a Google search of the
keywords that you want to rank for - eg "magic
tricks".

[The more specific you can make your keyword
search terms, the easier it will be for you to
compete for those same keywords. For example,
competing for the keywords "fat loss" in the
overweight niche would be very difficult. But if
you use something like "fat loss for pregnant
woman" as your keywords, your chance of doing well
compared to the other sites will be greatly
increased.]

Ok, back to the magic example...

By looking at the websites that come up on the
first page of Google, you can get a pretty good
idea about the keywords they are using on their
site and also the kind of content that they are
using.

You can then make a list of all those keywords and
add them to your existing list of keywords that
you want to use on your own blog.

There are a number of other things you can do as
well to benchmark your site, but this will already
help you for finding the right kind of keywords to
use in your blog posts and pages.

Network Marketing Prospecting-I'm Just Curious, Are You Using Phrase #23?

In network marketing today, to be successful, there are at least two things which need to happen. They are to learn 3 basic skills and to make sure you are at least in a 5 pillars company.

The life changing 5 pillars company information by Michael Dlouhy, author of Success in 10 Steps, is an entire video series in and of itself. So, we won't be able to delve into it. The focus today will be on the 3 basic skills all in network marketing need to master in the opinion of world renowed MLM train, Tom Schreiter

This is highly important because without skills, reps can't be successful at all. The 3 skills are:

1. Learn how to talk to people.
2. Find people to talk to.
3. Take the volunteers.

Now, it makes sense that if a distributor master's skill number one, the other two will naturally fall into place. Tom teaches many ways to master skill number one, too numerous for this article. So, we will just focus on one: the magic sequence of words. These sequences of words are so powerful because they speak directly to a prospect's subconscious mind and cause people to lean forward and pay attention to what rep has to say.

They are many magic sequences of words such as:

-I just found out.
-I have some good news and bad news
-Most people
-Everybody knows
-Everybody says
-I'm just curios
-Well, you know how

I could go on and on.

In some of his mlm training workshop, Tom Schreiter will give an example of how to use an entire string of the magical sequences words in a brief business presentation. Here is such an example:

Thank you for coming today. Everybody knows the economy is in trouble. Everybody says we are not going to get raises this year. So most people like to have more money.

I'm just curious: how many people here would take an extra paycheck in your mailbox every month? And how many people here would believe the extra paycheck would make things a whole lot easier?

Well, you know how its hard to get by with 1 or 2 percent raises every year? But there's an old saying that two paychecks are better than on e.

Now, you can have a second paycheck but there is a catch. You are going to have to spend about 30 or 35 mintues every day learning a new set of skills for your business.

I just found out how you can do this while driving in your car and listening to these cd's.

There are two types of people in the world: those who come home and have a chance to spend time with their families and have a good time, and those who come home and try to start a conventional business.

Now, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is trying to start a conventional business will take time away from your family. The good news is with our business, you can do it in a few minutes every day once you get it up and going.

In this particular example, there are about 12 magical sequences of words phrases. Notice how they all flow smoothly together and can hold a mlm prospects attention. If you begin to learn, practice, and implement this, your mlm business will grow by leaps and bounds!

Network Marketing Today-Great Headlines and Poor Closings You Gotta Read!

Tom Schreiter is a great resource for all reps in network marketing today. In a recent newsletter, he highlighted some great headlines most people can use for their business and poor closings that will leave you with no friends!

So, take some notes, have a good laugh, and learn from Tom. He's awesome!


Some great anti-social closes, guaranteed to make your neighbors petition you to move.

I am visiting a website with sales training closes. It brings me back to the 1960s, a time of hard-sell door-to-door salesmen and stereotypical used car salesmen.

In the 1960s you could get away with hard closing. But today, people are more sophisticated. They are flooded with hundreds of advertisements a day. Today, prospects are very sales-resistant.

And do you really want to "hard close" someone into your business? If you succeed, what will you have tomorrow? An inactive distributor.

So prepare to smile at some of these closes. Yes, some are anti-social and rude, but I'm sure you will smile.
"Do you want to pay by cash or check?"

"Do you want to join now or next Wednesday?"

"So what is it going to take to get you into our opportunity today?"

"On a scale of 1 to 10, where do you see your excitement about my business?"

"Don't you love your family?"

"Any three-year-old can see this is a great opportunity. Do you have a problem with that?"

"What part of the presentation didn't you like so that I can repeat it to you more slowly?"
We have to get a lot more professional than this to sell a business opportunity in today's world. Or, if we refuse to learn how, at least we shouldn't complain about our business results.

So what is your:
1. Best one-sentence close?
2. Creepy, awful close?

Here are four more great first sentences and headlines - and a lot of confusing bad ones.

If you don't capture your prospect's imagination and attention with a great first sentence or headline . . you don't have a prospect.

Always think hard about what your first sentence will be. Your career depends on it.

Network Marketing Today-How to Work Yourself Out of a Job

The goal of most reps in network marketing today is to build a big organization so that one day they can retire. However, in a recent training call with Jordan Adler and Art Jonak, it was discussed how for some leaders, the opposite occurs. In other words, leaders end up working 80 plus hours per week with their downline instead of enjoying enjoying time and freedom.

Jordan Adler said that a leader's job in mlm is to replace themself. The more a rep is able to train their replacements, the more valuable the leader will become in their company and organization.

The key, Jordan and Art said, was to keep focused with the end goal in mind What is the end goal? It is to work yourself out of a job. This means that initially, a leader in a mlm company will spend time working with their new recruits doing things such as having duplicatable systems for them to follow, teaching then the philosphohy of mlm, teaching skills, etc.

In addition, while a leader will also make sure their teams are aware of the resources and point them to them, they are careful not do the work for reps and create dependency. The end will be that partners on their teams will not need them as much anymore over time.

All of these steps can be accomplished by letting go of a need to oversee and control the downline and group. Instead a leader can focus on training their people who in turn will train their people. This equals lots of people doing a little bit. This is how you as a leader can end up with a large organization so that you can live a life of success you have been dreaming about!

Network Marketing Today-Warped views by distributors

Most people know that in network marketing, some reps have some very strange ideas. In fact, Tom, Big Al, Schreiter calls them "warped views."

He talked about this in his recent news letter. It was good stuff so I thought I'd share it with you. Just make sure you get rid of these views if you have them!

This explains my frustrating relationship with one of my distributors.

This distributor insists he wants to be a leader and make at least $10,000 a month. And, he insists that he should already be earning $10,000 a month after just six months with the company. After all, the company can't be any good if you can't earn at least $10,000 a month after six months of part-time work.

So I asked my distributor, "How much do you earn in your present job that you've been working for the past 12 years?"

He replied, "About $2,000 a month."

Did he get the hint? No.

So I asked, "And if you quit your current job after working 12 months, how much would you received monthly?"

He replied, "Nothing."

He still didn't get the hint!

He insists that it's the company's fault and he will just have to look for another opportunity that will pay him $10,000 a month after six months' work. It doesn't matter if he sponsors or sells, he just deserves $10,000 a month.

Network Marketing Today-Ignoring These Pillars Can Equal Frustration

There are many reps in network marketing who are struggling. In fact, most people know the statistics show that the failure rate in a multi-level marketing home-based business opportunity is around 97%.

Could part of the problem be that people who are looking for a mlm opportunity jump in with both feet without doing any careful analysis first? I believe so. After all, everybody knows that are many mlm scams out there. Everybody says that they can be avoided if a rep is educated first. This will help them make more informed decisions before joining an mlm opportunity.

I just found out there are specific foundational pillars business opportunity seekers should be reviewing before they join a work from home business opportunity. While there are really 8 foundational pillars, this article will cover three highly important ones.

1. Core values. This means what does the mlm company stand for? Do they create an atmosphere of equality, love, value and believe in helping others, freedom, integrity, etc.? Some potential partners may not think to look at this. However, evaluating core values of a mlm company is very important.

2. 100 year business plan. Does the business opportunity and Mlm Company have a written plan of their goals and where they are headed for the next 100 years? Are they visionaries? Are they streamlined? A non-streamlined mlm business has celebrity endorsements, a private jet, allegiance to share holders, own outside loans, have plush offices, high salaries, have executives with big ego’s, and don’t own their own technology. What does all of this spell? Trouble for you as a potential rep as the company clearly is about looking out for itself.


3. Partners First, Company Second. This simply means the company realizes that success comes as a result of distributors who move the products. It also means they listen to their reps in the field respectfully and value/appreciate their input. It means they reward their distributors and add even more value to the compensation plan when profits rise. This may sound strange, but there are mlm companies out there who do this.

Hopefully, this has opened your eyes to three very important areas distributors should consider before joining any network marketing home business opportunity. Doing so will save them years of failure and frustration!

MLM Training - The Most Effective Way To Handle Every Objection - Part 2
By Tim Sales

When you are deep in conversation with a prospect and everything is flowing really well you are suddenly hit with an objection. Your immediate thoughts may be, "Where the heck did that come from?" Understanding where objections come from will help to prepare you to handle every objection effectively.

Whenever there is a discussion about the network marketing industry, there are typically three separate points of view.

Fortunately there are those who are actively involved with multi-level marketing and running their own highly successful MLM businesses. The reason they are successful is because they know the industry, they have first-hand experience of it, they have ensured they got the right training, and they put in the effort required to be a success. It is likely that you will get nothing but a positive response from these network marketers.

The other two viewpoints, sadly, will be based either on misinformation about what the network marketing business model is, or on the opinions of those who have tried MLM and failed at it. Both are heavily biased towards the negative and can have a hugely detrimental effect depending on what your prospects have heard and believe to be true.

When you are talking to a new prospect and they raise an objection or ask a question, oftentimes it is based on some general knowledge, hearsay, or something they just happened to pick up in conversation.

With that background in place, let's discuss how you handle those objections when they do arise -- because if you get this part wrong you greatly reduce your chances of closing the prospect to take a positive action.

You're not there to win an argument. You're not there to create an argument.

You're not there to get mad. You're not there to feel guilty or go on the defensive about some general comments the prospect makes, based on hearsay.

Not easy at times - especially when handling objections made by family or friends.

Such situations can really get out of hand. You have to be able to rid yourself of the mindset that you have to win. You are talking to these people for one very important reason. The purpose of handling an objection and the only purpose of handling an objection is to help your prospect get past what's currently stopping them from getting what they want.

You have probably heard often enough that the success of your MLM business will depend largely on your willingness to help others and the willingness to undergo the right training. It is this willingness that will determine the mindset you have when handling objections and questions about the network marketing industry.

Also remember that you're not handling an objection to get the person into your business. Instead, focus on helping your prospect to get what they want when they are asking you a question or giving you an objection. The objection or the reason behind the objection is stopping them -- so help them.

If your true intention is focused on your personal goals as opposed to those of your prospect, this will definitely come across in any discussion you have -- but even more so when handling an objection. If you start giving your prospect answers that are skewed towards your benefit and not theirs, they will pick up on this almost as if you are in contention with them -- and you will run the huge risk of losing any trust the prospects may have in you.

Make sure that all your conversations are for their benefit. In this way, you will do far better because they will then trust you and trust what you say. By giving them answers that help them -- not you, you will win their trust in you.

Network Marketing Prospecting -Do The Only Thing That Matters

In network marketing, especially network marketing prospecting, there is one thing that separates the leaders who generate great royalty income from the average rep. What is this elusive thing? Skills. Specifically, the skill of knowing how to talk to people/prospects whether they are an online mlm lead, opt-in mlm lead, mlm local lead, a friend, family member, etc.

One skill that average distributors, who desire to become leaders with an ever growing downline as well as customers who purchase products and services, needs to master is learning how to talk to people. One such way to do this is to become an expert in skill #23. What is this skill that will increase your sponsoring rate and help you become one of your company’s superstars? Well, I just found out that according to Tom, Big Al, Schreiter, it is the “magic sequence of words”. Why is this skill so important? It’s because when these word phrases are used, people will sit up straight, look right at you, and want to know more.

Here are some examples of the sequences as well as how you can use them:

-“ I have some good news and bad news.” I have some good news and bad news. The good news is you can eat these cookies and lose weight. The bad news is all the girls at work will be jealous of you.

-“There are two types of people in the world”. There are two types of people in the world: Those who stay at home and make all the money they want and those who have to fight route 66 traffic everyday.

-“I just found out.” I just found out how you can work for three weeks out of the month and get paid for 4.

-“There is a catch.” You can lose weight easily, but there is a catch. You will forced to eat a couple of cookies a day.

-“There is an old saying.” There is an old saying that two paychecks are better than one.

As you can see, what you can do with this list of word phrases is practically endless. Plus, there are many more which I did not even mention.

Well, know you know the one thing you must do is you want o increase your sponsoring rate, have a growing downline, and a list of happy customers. Begin to learn this important network marketing prospecting skill and your work at home mlm business will grow.

How far should you go to help?

At the MasterMind V event in Houston last year, Jordan Adler shared this tip.
A new distributor may ask you, "Please jump on a plane and come to my city to do a meeting. I can have 100 people there."

We all know what happens. Sometimes the over-enthusiastic new distributor has over-estimated the attendance. Sometimes almost no one shows up.

But we can't just say "No" to the request. So how can we estimate how successful our trip will be?
Jordan recommended this. He would tell the new distributor:
"Let's do a teleconference with your prospects first. And then I will come and do an opportunity meeting."
If the request was legitimate, the teleconference would be well-attended. And if the new distributor over-estimated the local enthusiasm, the teleconference would show that very few real prospects exist.

If the new distributor can't get 20 or 30 people on the teleconference call, what are the chances that 100 people would drive and show up for an opportunity meeting?

What a great way of servicing the new distributor's request, while avoiding unproductive trips to faraway places.

Network Marketing Training Tips-Today, Improve Your Prospecting and Retailing First Sentences

One of the best mentors in mlm today is Tom, Big Al, Schreiter. I recently received a newsletter from him in which he offered some great network marketing training tips about how to improve our prospecting and retailing first sentences.

It's good stuff, so sit back and take notes!


"Do your prospecting and retailing first sentences need to be improved?"

At many of my SuperSponsoring Workshops, I talk about the power of your headline. Your headline is also the first sentence out of your mouth when you give a presentation. And your headline can make a massive difference in your business. Here's just one case study:

Movieline Magazine increased their new business gross response by 7.5% and net response by 29.6% by changing the headline on its envelope from:

"Do you have the guts . . ."

to

"Toss this envelope . . . if you're looking for a safe, sweet movie magazine that flatters the pants off Hollywood . . ."
Think about it. Just this one simple change made a 29.6% difference. Wouldn't you like your bonus check to increase 29.6% by only changing a few words? Or how much more effective would your sponsoring be if you had a "killer" first sentence that stopped prospects in their tracks?

This is why I spend the first 90 minutes of our SuperSponsoring Workshops on creating great first sentences. Why not take a little time today to improve your first sentence?

Do you need a little inspiration?

Here are some headlines and first sentences to get you thinking:

* "Pure water for only four cents a gallon!"

* "Stop smoking -- or die!"

* "How to make money every time your neighbor uses the telephone."

* "This is the herb that weight-loss doctors give to their wives to reduce."

* "How to feel like you are 16 years old again . . . but with better judgment."

* "Our goal is to get you into networking so you can get into not-working."

* "Go from Networking to Not-working."

* "Take a six-month vacation - twice a year . . . and hire your boss to do the work."

* "Think like a millionaire."

* "Eat cookies - lose weight!"

* "If home is where your heart is - then shouldn't your business be there too?"

Can you come up with your own first sentences and headlines?

It just takes a little imagination and practice. But once you get that great first sentence, and pass it on to your downline, watch out! Sales volume and recruiting can surge.

We spend far too much time on perfecting the rest of our presentation - but the truth is, if our first sentence isn't very good, nobody is listening to the rest of our presentation.

And you don't have to limit your first sentence to face-to-face presentations. You can use a great first sentence or headline on telephone calls, email subject lines, first sentences of your sales letters, business cards, brochures, posters, ads, etc.

So it makes sense to invest a lot of time to get a good clear message into your first sentence.

We could go on and on, but you should be inspired by now to start creating your own first sentences. So grab a pencil and pen, and begin writing down those great first sentence ideas for your business and products.

Your first sentence or headline is everything. If you don't capture your prospect's interest immediately, you are wasting your time.

Business Opportunity MLM-How to Avoid Getting Sucked Into A Scam

Due to the state of the economy, there are many business opportunity seekers who are considering joining a network marketing company to build up a residual income. While this is great thing, the sad fact is there are a lot of mlm scam companies out there. The last thing you want to do is sucked into one of those bad deals!

I thought I’d share with you the top three crucial things you MUST o study before you join a multi-level marketing opportunity. Skip these at your peril.

#1: How stable is the network marketing company? There are a couple of ways you can do this. You can “Google” the company management and see what comes up. You can also get a credit report Dunn and Bradstreet. You can also look at how long the company has been promoting a mlm income opportunity. This is important because most companies don’t last two years. Therefore, the more stability there is the better.

#2: Does the company sell valuable products which are backed by research? If you want to build a great team of distributors/partners, there can’t be any hype, smoke, and mirrors that the company uses to sell products. There should be validation regarding the effectiveness of a product. For instance, does a weight loss product have clinical trials done by an independent laboratory? Also, what is the home based business return policy and buy-back policy related to its products? Another good test is for you to buy the products and try them. Do you like it? Did they help you with your problem?

#3: What is the work from home’s company’s business climate? Do they want you to focus primarily on recruiting distributors, selling products and services, or both? If the sole goal is to recruit people, your scam alert should be on high!  Many times this very well could be an illegal pyramid scheme with no real product being promoted.  Plus, how is the company’s staying afloat in this scenario? Are the distributors using enough products to keep the company going? Your state attorney general will always pose the question, would you have joined this home based business opportunity if there was not a compensation plan attached to it? If the answer is “heck no”, run, run, run! So, with any legitimate mlm company, there always should be a nice balance between recruiting and selling product.

These are just a few areas to carefully research before you join any mlm company. Remember, there are a bunch of mlm scams out there and the attorney generals can’t keep up with them all. Therefore, always make sure you do your part to avoid being scammed.

MLM Marketing Secrets-More rejection isn't good for you.

If you are looking to increase your mlm marketing skills, Tom, Big Al, Schreiter is an excellent teacher and mentor.

In a recent article in his newsletter, The Big Al Report, he talked about how contrary to some opinions, more rejections ISN'T good for you. Here is why.

More rejection isn't good for you.

New distributor: "But I contacted 100 people and only one person wanted to come to a presentation. I hate all this rejection!"

Sponsor: "Great! See what is happening? For every 99 times you are rejected, you get one person to come to a presentation. All you need to do is to talk to more people."

Ouch.

If you are the distributor getting all this rejection, you're tired of hearing these rah-rah motivational lessons:

* Every "No" brings you closer to a "Yes."

* Pretend that you are getting paid for every "No. "

* They're not rejecting you, they are just rejecting the opportunity.

* Each "No" is just one person closer to a "Yes."
Wouldn't it be easier to learn new skills? New skills that will get more prospects to tell you "Yes"? Wouldn't it be more fun to get 50 people to say "Yes" instead of only one person out of 100?

Instead of working harder, and getting more rejection, let's learn new skills.

Network Marketing Training Tip-Do You Know Your Company's Business Model?

I  understand you are a struggling entrepreneur trying to build a multi-level marketing business successfully. You desire to create that royalty income. Yet, you are frustrated because in spite of all the training and doing everything the heavy hitter guru tells you to do, you still are experiencing failure.

The good news today is this isn't your fault! You see, the more you become an educated distributor and are able to carefully analyze compensation plans, companies, and company owners, the more you will come to realize that that business models drive the behaviors in the field. This is probably the most important network marketing training tip you can learn today.

You see, poor business models results in the 97% of reps failing in network marketing. When the cards are stacked against them right from the start, they just canĂ¢€™t compete in the market place. That is the bottom line. One could have loads of skills and motivation, but a crappy business model can ruin it all.

Here are some areas that represent poor company business models:

-Compensation plan breakage. If a company has products that are overpriced, this spells trouble. Partners are then having to explain why prices are sky high(which sets off salesman alarms), and then try to get people in on the deal so they can get the cheaper wholesale price. The behavior this drives is reps pushing for sign-ups instead of being able to retail and build a nice list of customers on autoship.

- Beautiful website business model. When a company's website (which distributors market) have gorgeous, fancy, buildings on it, brag about how great the company's president is and how wonderful the home based business opportunity is, blah, blah, blah, bad things happen. You see, out of every 100 people who visit the site, 89 could care less, 10 are interested in the products, and 1 is interested in the business opportunity. So, what is the solution? Focus on presenting the product line on the website since 90% of site visitors don't care about the opportunity. After all, you don't want to leave customers on the table!

These are just two examples of poor business models which can create lots of frustration and lack of success. The bottom line is this, according to Michael Dlouhy, author of the ebook,  "Success in 10 Step"s:

"The key is to understand the landscape so you can put yourself in the best position to be successful. You can have a realistic chance for mlm success if you understand what features you should look for in a mlm company."
