If my wife is upset with me, I use a safe question. I ask: "What did I do this time?"

When You Tell Your Story, Google Will Say, “BOR-ING!! zzZ-ZZZ-ZZ”

What can you do to get Google’s attention?

More than 20 years ago, marketing guru Jay Abraham compiled a booklet titled The 100 Greatest Headlines Ever Written. He listed his 100 top heads, followed by a paragraph or two explaining each one and why it was successful.

Notice anything they have in common?

Well … they all more or less announce a story. If that story appeals to you, it’s a great hook.

But guess what? Google doesn’t care. If you want high ranking in Google’s natural search (unpaid), then you need to know how to write headlines that software will drool over.

Hint #1: Don’t tell a story. Software doesn’t care about your problems or your successes.

Hint #2: Don’t promise a benefit. There’s not a benefit on earth that can get software lathered up. Why? Because it’s software!

Hint #3: Don’t get into hypnotism, magnetism, neuro-linguistic programming, or any other mind games. Software will laugh in your face … just before it falls asleep.

You already heard the biggest part of the “#1 rank in Google” formula on the How You Can Make Google Drool audio. To also create headslines that will make Google drool:

1. Use your favorite keyword tool to list a bunch of keyword phrases people search in your niche.
2. Use those phrases or rework them slightly so they make sense, and occasionally throw in one of the words that people are so often looking for with regard to any specific subject:

  • advice
  • guide
  • ideas
  • lesson
  • methods
  • mistakes
  • model
  • plan
  • program
  • strategy
  • system
  • tactics
  • techniques
  • tips
  • tools
  • tricks
  • tutorial

When you come up with a title, hold it to 5 or 6 words, max. 3-4 words is better. It needs to make sense, but Google wants it short & sweet.

If you combine that kind of title with an article laden with latent semantic indexed words, and publish it on an authority site like EzineArticles.com, you have a winner … high chance of #1 rank in Google for your title.

Free Network Marketing Information

Have you ever run an ad about your networking marketing company's products or services and are not sure what to say when you get a call?

If so, you likely are not alone. There happens to be a right and wrong way to talk to your prospect. Today's free network marketing information tip is from Tom Schreiter. He talks about exactly what to say and not!

The object of your ad is to generate a phone call.

Many ads sell, sell, and sell.

These ads sell the business opportunity, the compensation plan, the products, the founders, the upline support and the terrific training. However, most of these ads forget one thing:

The object of your ad is to generate a phone call.

Few prospects will read a five-line classified ad and decide to join your business. Few prospects will look at an impressive graphic in a full-page ad and decide to join your business.

When writing our ads, we must keep our objective in mind - to generate a phone call.

This will help us focus our ad copy and headlines.

Instead of getting carried away with our terrific compensation plan and printing out the entire payout plan, maybe we can use that same space to put in a testimonial that will motivate the prospect to call. See the difference?

When we know our objective, our ad design gets easier. And, our ad results get better.

Want an example?

Don't say:

"Our opportunity offers 2.2% more bonus on kryptonite products
through six levels of directors."

Instead say:

"Call now to find out how you can earn an extra $300 this week.
Remember to ask for your free bonus gift."

The first statement informs the prospect . . . sort of.

The second statement motivates the prospect to make a call.

MLM Home Business Opportunity

As a distributor who has a mlm home business opportunity, you likely have many goals. Some may include finding opportunity seekers to add to your database, increasing your earnings so your home business can become more profitable, etc.

The one challenge you and many distributors likely face is knowing how to get more appointments with mlm prospects. Many don't realize there are simple skills they can use to get appointments just about 100% of the time. Knowing these skills can make prospecting efforts not only more efficient, but also cause leads to sit up and pay attention.

One of the skills to ease recruiting frustration is to learn to use the right first sentence. First sentences are important because they cause prospects to make up their minds in 30 seconds.

As a matter of fact, 95%-98% of reps who use the right first sentence see much success and an increase in sign up rates. Some people spend days, months, and years learning how to give a good presentation to their leads which is unnecessary. Using the right first sentence will work even if the rest of the presentation is horrific.

A couple of good things to know about the right first sentence is this:

-It should get rid of the pyramid objection
-It should get the prospect excited
-If should have the mlm lead think, "How can I join?"
-It should get rid of the "I'm not comfortable doing that" objection
-It should get rid of the training objection
-It should promote confidence

If you want to create endless leads for your income opportunity say this simple first sentence:

"Most people do network marketing everyday but they just don't get paid for it."

That's it. It has been proven that this simple first sentence causees fresh mlm leads or any others to to lean forward and have a burning desire to know more.
