Today's free network marketing information tip will cover how to put an RSS button on your blog. This is something I have done with mine and helps people to be able to follow you much easier.

A web log, or commonly known as blog, used to be just an online journal where most teenagers and voyeurs take note of their daily misfits and whatnots. Now, it has become one powerful marketing device that is taking online marketing to new levels. Thanks to its easy-to-use and update-able interface, it has become the favorite of many.

If you'd like to keep your blog a secret, it's your call and adding an RSS feed button or link to it is not necessary. But if you are one of the many marketers who are dying to promote their blogs, then an RSS feed button will suit your blog very well.

How do you put an RSS button or just about any form of RSS feed that readers can capture just in case they want to read more from your blog without having to visit your blog any time they wish to?

Go pay a visit to RSS feed sites such as Feed Burner or Feed Blitz and see the instructions on how to get your blog's feed burned and presented in an easy to subscribe to form.

Usually, the steps include typing in your blog's URL on a certain feed burning box. Then, you will be prompted to choose what URL you would like to use when presenting your RSS feed. After a few seconds, the Feed site that provided your blog with an RSS feed form will confirm that you can give out that chosen URL as your blog's RSS feed URL.

To facilitate your blog's RSS feed presentation to readers, all you have to do is tweak your blog's template or theme and include the codes that the RSS feed site provided for your blog's RSS URL. Feed Burner has this orange chicklet form of feed link. Others have colored (usually orange) rectangular buttons with XML or RSS on them.

I'll bet that the first time you ever heard of MLM, the word "duplication" wasn't far behind.

It's long been accepted as gospel that for big success in MLM, you must have duplication. But the fact is, mindless duplication can cost you a lot of money.

Back in 1989, I was reading the business opportunity ads in the weekend edition of USA Today. I circled a few ads and called one in particular. I got a voice mail message and left my contact information. The message offered me a free audiotape. The ad wasn't specific. I didn't know what it was about until I got the tape in the mail.

So I listened to the tape. It was by a fellow by the name of Dayle Maloney. You may well know Dayle, an old-time MLMer, very successful.

I Wanted Nothing To Do With MLM

I had been there and done that and had been killed a number of times in MLM. So I wanted nothing to do with it back in the late 80's. But I listened to Dayle's tape and he had some interesting ideas. One thing in particular he said just stuck with me. What Dayle said was that if you are ever going to make it big in THIS business, if you are ever going to be a player in network marketing, you've got to do your own audiotape. You HAVE to do your own audiotape. There's no argument - you just have to.

And that thought stuck with me. So a few years later, I was in a position where I had found an MLM product that I thought was outstanding. I figured if there was ever any product I could sell, it would be that one. I very definitely remembered what Dayle said. So I wrote a script and then rented studio time and recorded a 90-minute audiotape. And I had good success with it.

Over the next few years, I did 6 or 8 different audiotapes. And every one of them built a business for me. Most of them were scripted. Some of them, I recorded with other people. The technology is obviously different today. I am not telling you that you have to do an audiotape today, because you don't.

But To Have Major Network Marketing Success, You Need To Brand Yourself

That first audiotape set me apart from others in the business. There were quite a few MLM audiotapes at that time, but even so, anyone who actually did one, who took the time and learned enough to do it ... it branded them, set them apart, differentiated them.

And as I built my business, that tape gave my people an exclusive tool to use that nobody else had. (THAT is where the duplication comes in!) And it made it easier for me to recruit to build the business, because I have this tool that nobody else had. In MLM, you are always talking about how important duplication is. And it definitely is important. You've got to have a system that duplicates that other people can use.

But if you are ever going to be the big leader who has the huge success, who makes the really big money, you also have to differentiate yourself. You have to brand yourself somehow. Figure out a unique message and a unique way to deliver it ... video, podcast, email, conference call ... figure out something that makes you different. You have to decide how you are going to do that. You have to both duplicate and differentiate ... and then network marketing becomes a REALLY interesting and fun game.

How do I subscribe to an RSS feed?

You will determine what web sites you will be subscribing to. It all depends in your desired content for your blog.

You can use the RSS feed reader tools to locate content providers for your site. Or you may also locate these RSS feeds in the content provider website. Usually, the RSS feed link is defined by an orange button, with XML or RSS tag.

MLM Network Marketing Leads-Discover The Real Prospecting Secret

All networkers desire to have a steady stream of mlm network marketing leads coming through their funnel. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is learning how to say the right words.

Telling a story is one of those things that can help a networker keep their mlm networking marketing lead engaged in the conversation. Plus, one will be telling a story only to people who are interested so it's practically rejection free!

When telling a story, it is not to be long and drawn out. The story really is a very simple presentaton about the business. It needs to very short, about two minutes or less. Here is how it works.

All a networker would have to say is this: "I got a good story. Takes about 2 minutes. You might make a lot of money; you might not. Wanna hear it?"

Now, since most people enjoy stories, it will be the rare person who would say "no" or "I'm not interested"! Usually, the response would be "yes" or "sure". So, once the prospects says yes, the networker could say:

"Ok, let's say that you want to earn an extra $500 a month. Well, Barry told me all that a person has to do is three simple things. Here is what they are:

-Don't change. Be yourself. Continue making recommendations like you always do when it comes to things like good movies to go see, great places to eat, great places to shop, where to find the best deal, etc"

Then, the networker would share with the mlm network marketing lead, some of the benefits of their particular company's product or service. A person could say soemthing like this:

"I am with X company. We have over 30 products that help people live a healthy life. For instance, we have a special juice that helps people wake up one hour earlier a day feeling like a million bucks and fall asleep at night within 7 minutes of hitting the pillow. Plus, it helps get rid of stress! Then, we have the cookies. They are perfect for the folks who want to lose weight the easy way by eating two cookies a day between meals. The cookies fill them up so much they don't eat as much. They love it because they don't want have to go on those crazy starvation diets. All you would need to do is to find 2-3 products that you like."

This statement is clearly outlining the benefits of a partiuclar company's products in a way that will intrigue many a prospect. So, now that the prospect knows about the products. The conversation can continue. The networker then would say something like this:

"All you have to do is between you and everyone you talk to, and everyone those people talk to and so on, find 25 people who love the products just as much as you so you can earn an extra $500 per month. So, that's it. What do you think?"

Notice that this is a very non-threatening way for networkers to talk to their mlm network marketing leads about their products and business opportunity that is very interesting and will hold a person's attention. The person is given a easy way out if they are not interested without any undue hard selling pressure.

Telling stories is one of the easiest things a networker can do to have a steady stream of interested mlm networking marketing leads. It is one of network marketing prospecting secrets. So, hone up on those story telling skills and take action today!

MLM Distributors-Do You Know the 3 Magic Statements

Many mlm distributors want to know great ways to end conversations when talking to prospects.

Thankfully, Tom Schreiter gives us some amazing tips in how to do just this. Here is Tom in his own words:

Three closing statements that will thrill your prospects.

Your prospects enjoy being treated as adults. They hate
manipulation or tricky closing questions such as:

* Don't you love your family?
* Any three-year-old can see this a great
opportunity, do you have any problem
with it?
* Are you a decision-maker or a loser?

Yes, these are pretty rude closing statements, so why not try:

* So, what do you think?
* And that's it.
* And the rest is up to you.

These are very low-key, non-threatening closing
statements. You're telling the prospects that you
respect them as adults, and that they are capable of
making their own decisions based on the information you
have given them.

Just one caution. These closing statements only work IF
you have completely answered the three major questions
prospects want to have answered in order to make an
intelligent decision.

MLM Distributors-"More people have read this shirt than your blog."

Many of we mlm distributors are looking to build our business on the internet. This is great, but we need to keep in mind that we may very well be overlooking other marketing possibilities as well!

Once again, Tom Schreiter gets to the heart of things. I call it tough love! Here is what he says:

"More people have read this shirt than your blog."

Despair.com has cool, anti-success, anti-hype, satirical stuff. Sometimes we take ourselves a bit too seriously.

But, when I saw that saying on a T-shirt they marketed, I thought,

"Hey, for all the work someone puts into a blog that only three people read or care about . . . for the same effort that person could have met 20 equally qualified people at the local bar."

So before we spend time or money on prospecting, let's ask ourselves this question:

"For the same amount of time or money, could I get more prospects doing something else?"

This will keep us from fooling ourselves. A lot of time we do activities, thinking we are building our business, but in reality, we are just avoiding meeting new people.

MLM Distributors-Tips to Build Relationships Fast

If you are like some mlm distributors and feel that you don't have months to build relationships, you are not alone.

Actually, there is a way you can buld relationships a bit faster. And as usual, Tom Schrieter has some valuable insights!

When you don't have time to build a relationship.

When you contact a referral, or when you call a prospect from a list of leads, you don't have days or months to build a relationship. So how do you present your opportunity?

Don't start with all the neat benefits of your opportunity. Don't tell the prospects about the wonderful bonus checks, the trips, the cars, the incredible products, the company founder's background, etc.

Instead, remember that people buy things to solve a problem.

So position your presentation to solve a problem for your prospect. Talk about how your opportunity will make it easier for the prospect to take more time off work, how your opportunity will make it easier to pay bills with that extra check every month, or how your opportunity will provide the extra car for the spouse.

Prospects don't care how great your opportunity is. They simply care about their problems. That's the shortcut when you don't have time to build relationships.

Many people are looking to use the internet to generate mlm network marketing leads.
I am one of those myself!

In today's post, we will learn from Tom, Big Al, Schreiter how to create rocking headlines that will attract mlm network marketing leads to us!

Prospects skim your web pages and e-mail.

So, you have to be interesting or they will move
on to something else. And how can you make your
writing interesting?

Try this.

Big Al's Cheap, Sleazy, Trashy, Four-Step
Formula For Tabloid Type Headlines

Headlines are the most important part of your ad.
Want proof?

Grab your daily newspaper. Do you read every
article in your daily newspaper? Of course not. So
how do you choose which articles to read?

By the headlines.

For instance, let's see what you do as you skim
your paper and see the following headlines:
; 'Conflict continues in Europe.'

(Same headline every day, I think I'll move on
and read another article.)

 'Fire destroys lots of buildings.'

(Okay. That's terrible, but this does happen a lot.)

 'Government proposed to pass more laws.'

(Nothing unusual here.)
 'Elvis Presley's two-headed great-grandchild
elopes with two-ton alien.'

(Hmmm, I'd better read this article.)

What's happening? Why did we choose to read only
the last article?

Because it was interesting. Our lives are busy and
we don't want to waste time reading boring,
uninteresting articles. We want a little excitement.

And tabloids know this.

Check out all those cheap, trashy, sleazy tabloids
at the check-out counter in your local supermarket
or newsstand. What do they really have to sell?

A great sports section? No.

Outstanding investigative journalism? No.

In-depth business reports? No.

Interesting headlines? Yes.

That's all they have to sell - just headlines. And
they do an excellent job of selling their tabloids
because we love their interesting headlines.

What are some examples of interesting, tabloid-
like headlines that you could use for your ads?
Here are a couple of my favorites that really sell
the reader to read further:

'Atlanta Housewife Investigated And Almost
Arrested For Losing 73 Pounds.'

'Overweight Granny Loses 57 Pounds, Steals
Granddaughter's Tight-Fitting Jeans, Then
Enters Limbo Contest.'

If you wanted to lose weight, you would definitely
choose to read the rest of these ads. Why? Because
the headlines are interesting.

So what makes certain headlines interesting? Well,
when we talk about people, it's interesting.
That's why soap operas get such high ratings.
That's why People Magazine has many readers. We
like to peek into other people's lives.

And adding specifics to your headlines makes them
more believable too. That's why I include specific
odd numbers in my four-step formula.

Are you ready for the four-step formula so that
you can create cheap, sleazy, trashy (but very
interesting) tabloid-like headlines? Well here it
is.

Step #1: Benefit

Step #2: Occupation

Step #3: Geography

Step #4: Odd numbers

That's it! It looks simple, but let's put it to
work to give us some interesting headlines.

Step 1: Let's pick a benefit for our product.
Imagine that we sell tax advice to entrepreneurs.
Our headline should include a benefit (saving
taxes), so our headline would say:

'How to save money on your taxes.'

Good headline, but it could be better. Let's go on
to Step #2, occupation. Maybe the tax advisor used
to be a bank teller. Now we can improve our
headline to say:

'Underpaid bank teller shows ordinary people how
to save money on their taxes.'

Better headline, isn't it? There is more
personality and interest with this revision. But
we can do more. Let's go on to Step #3, geography.
Maybe our tax advisor lives in Weird Falls,
Virginia. Now we can improve our headline to say:

'Underpaid bank teller from Weird Falls, Virginia
shows ordinary people how to save money on their
taxes.'

If you wanted to save money on your taxes, you'd
probably read this ad, wouldn't you?

We have one more step to go, Step #4, odd numbers.
Now which has more credibility?

1. 'About a thousand.'
2. '973.'

When we say '973' to someone, it has more
credibility because it is specific. So now we add
some odd numbers to our headline to get:

'33-year-old, underpaid bank teller from Weird
Falls, Virginia shows ordinary people how to save
$751 on their tax return by adding just one little
form.'

You definitely want to read this ad now to find
out which form to add to your tax return.

Want some more example of using this simple four-
step formula?

Step #1: How to stop snoring.'

Step #2: How a car mechanic accidentally discovers
how to stop snoring.'

Step #3: How a car mechanic from Wabonsie Center
shows people how to stop snoring.'

Step #4: 61-year-old car mechanic from Wabonsie
Center discovers how to stop your spouse from
snoring in only 13 seconds.'

Want to do it again?

Step #1: 'How to make more money.'

Step #2: 'Beautician's assistant shows mothers how
to make more money.'

Step #3: 'Beautician's assistant from Diamond
County shows young mothers how to make more
money.'

Step #4: '21-year-old beautician's assistant from
Diamond County shows young mothers how to earn an
extra $323 a month.'

Is this the only way to make interesting
headlines? No.

It's just an easy, four-step formula to get you
started. Once you have your Big Al cheap, sleazy,
trashy, four-step tabloid-like headline, you can
edit and fine-tune the headline for your needs.


 Homework.

Practice this four-step headline approach. Then,
change your signature file or change your web page
with this more interesting headline technique.

MLM Network Marketing Leads-Five Free Methods of Driving Traffic to Your MLM Website

For those networkers who primarily use the internet to build their mlm network marketing leads list, effectively driving traffic to a website is critical. Without traffic, you cannot do things such as acquire sales for your mlm products, attain e-mail subscribers, build your newsletter list, or any other thing that you would like to accomplish with your websites.

It shall always be the amount of traffic and a continuance of a stable flow of traffic that decides the success of your website. Driving traffic to your mlm website does not necessarily mean you have to spend a dime. There are a lot of free methods you can use to drive traffic to your website. Let's take a look at 5 of them.

The five methods listed here are really excellent and proven to achieve the closest results you wish and can always be applied directly. Unlike purchasing your own advertising, these methods are free but of course, they will require the most of your attention and hard work.

1. Make sure your mlm website is optimized for search engines as far as possible. Any traffic you achieve from search engines is always free. To have your website optimized, ensure that the website contains articles with a lot of keywords. When you write articles for your website, make sure they are about 400-900 words long. Be sure to include catchy titles to entice visitors to read them. 2. Join link exchange programs. Nowadays, there are a lot of webmasters who invite other webmasters to take part in link exchange programs. When someone's website is linked to yours, you'll have the chance of being visited by people who visit those websites. To do this, you can look out for websites that are similarly related to yours and allow the owners of these websites to exchange links. Make use of an anchor text for the link as it will aid your search engine rankings. A good strategy you could use for this is commenting on blogs related to your niche that also include do follow tags.

Many networkers who build their mlm business primarily on the internet are always seeking more ways to generate more mlm network m marketing leads. In reality, there are many ways to increase website traffic. Some networkers are using strategies such as SEO practices, link buying and even subscribing to pay-for-click programs just to encourage more visitors to their sites. However, one of the least expensive ways of increasing traffic to a mlm website traffic is through article marketing.

What is Article Marketing?

For those who are not familiar with this, article marketing is a form of online advertising. Basically, a person will write short articles about anything related to what they're trying to promote with their mlm product or services. An article is never a sales pitch, but rather a ways to offer valuable information to readers. After completing the piece, a person will have to make it available for distribution and publication in place such as article directories

As a rule, each completed article contains a resource box which contains vital information such as the name of the author, a very brief background of the author, and contact information of the author, etc.

Essentials of Article Marketing

In order to generate quality mlm network marketing leads, it is important to follow these essentials of article marketing:

1. Write quality articles

Quality content is still the best way to make article marketing work. You should remember that more than a million people log on to the Internet daily; and a good percentage of them post article after article about almost any topic.

When you write an article, try to incorporate all the information your potential reader may need or want. Internet users usually seek out valuable information that can help them solve their problems. If you can, write and post articles that have the same theme or subject of interest; and write as many articles as you can. This is a way of building up your reputation among your readers. Given time, (and if your articles are interesting enough,) you just may develop a following of readers who are interested in reading what you have to say.

2. Craft the perfect resource box

As mentioned earlier, when you market your article, you should always have a resource box. Now, this is really important. This is the one place that can literally point your readers to your website. Here is how you should craft a perfect resource box:


The first thing that your readers should find in your resource box is your name and title. Also, the information should be presented in such a way that folks will be intrigued and want to visit your website. Make sure you do not forget to type in correctly your website address after your name.

After this, there is the compulsory USP or unique selling proposition: this is comprised of 1 to 3 brief and concise sentences as to what more you can possibly offer your readers.
Finally, you lead your readers into a call of action. This means that you are asking them to do one specific action: particularly asking them to visit your website.

3. Submit your articles

Obviously, submitting your article for publication is important, but where do you send them? The easiest choice is to send them to article directories or acquire article distribution services. Submission to article directories is mostly free, and these directories will allow you to add links to your website. Article distribution services have varying fees, but they allow your piece to be posted in more sites than article directories. So, hopefully you are beginning to see how powerful article marketing can be to generate traffic to your mlm website which will also help you grow a larger mlm network marketing leads list.

Welcome to Lesson #10 of the 'Big Al Internet
Sponsoring Home Study Course.'

Let's put together a prospecting and sponsoring
campaign with what we've learned so far. We
want our campaign to:

1. Find new prospects.
2. Have these prospects know, like and trust us.
3. Send these prospects to our web page.

Ready?

Go to any tourist location in your area. You
will see the tourists taking pictures of their
friends and family with the tourist location
as the background.

One problem.

The person holding the camera is never in the
picture.

You walk up to a young couple and say:

'Would you like to have your picture together?'

They will smile, thank you, and pose for the
picture.

But . . . you take the picture with your
digital camera!

When you finish, say:

'Where do you want me to e-mail your picture?'

The young couple gives you their e-mail address.

When you get home, send an e-mail to the young
couple and say:

'Hi. Here is the picture of you I took today.
Hope you enjoy it. You look great!

In case you don't remember me, click here to
see a picture of me . . . '

Guess what?

They will open your e-mail.

They will know, like and trust you because you
did them a favor.

They will click on your link and will be taken
to your web page. And your web page can do its
magic.

Simple, wasn't it? And how much did it cost?

Nothing!

Now, how many pictures could you take in one
hour?

Today's lesson covers a great internet network marketing recruiting secret that can potentially do wonders for your mlm business.

Tom talks about how to go viral. Let's see what's up his sleeve!

In Lesson #8, we learned about 'signature files.'

Today, we are going to talk about the 'viral'
power of the Internet.

'Viral' means that others pass along an idea,
an e-mail, or a website.

So what is the most viral thing on the Internet?

Jokes!

How many times have you received a joke from
a friend? How many times have you forwarded
a joke to a friend?

When people receive a good joke in an e-mail
message, they usually forward the whole message.

And, that whole message could include your
signature file!

So imagine you went to http://www.google.com and
searched the web for a great joke. Then, you
customized the joke or modified the joke so that
it would be unique to your friends. Your friends
would 'viral' that joke to others, who 'viral'
that joke to others, etc.

>>But jokes aren't the only things that are viral
on the Internet.

You could create a list of resources. If people
thought your list had value, they would forward
your list on to others.

You could post valuable information to a forum
where people discuss a common topic. Now your
signature file could be instantly read by people
all over the world -- people that you've never met.

Recipes are viral.

Touching stories are viral.

Even some pictures are viral.

Just start thinking -- viral. Then, let your great
signature file do the work.

Your signature file pre-qualifies interested prospects,
so now your web page will have better quality visitors.

My friend, Bernie Center, sent out an e-mail to just
a few friends. It was an interesting and funny 'prank.'
Bernie reports over 44,000 visitors to his web page
from the viral effect of this e-mail.

Viral can be big.

Try to create at least one viral e-mail message today.
Then, try do the same every week. Your viral traffic
will grow and grow with your consistent efforts.

Network Marketing Secrets-More Savvy MLM Internet Sponsoring Secrets

Well, Tom Schreiter continues to give us practical tips that any of can use to make our network marketing recruiting efforts more efficient on the internet. He will be covering how to correctly use signature files today.

Let's take some notes and get going here!


In Lesson #7, we created a web page that collected
the e-mail addresses of our visitors.

Today we will learn about 'signature files.'

A signature file is simply a small advertisement or
message that you place at the bottom of your personal
outgoing e-mail messages.

Here is an example:


Hi Joyce,
Just wanted to let you know that our aunt Lela is
having a birthday party at the Olive Garden
restaurant on Sunday afternoon. If you want to
come, let me know.

Thanks.

Mary

won from my part-time business.


The signature file part of this e-mail is:

Click here to see a picture of the new car I
won from my part-time business.

Signature files are an easy, non-intrusive way to
advertise your business. The biggest mistake most
networkers make is not having a signature file on
all of their outgoing e-mail messages.

You never know the circumstances of the person who
reads your messages. Your signature file might be
just the solution to the reader.

You want your signature file to direct prospects
to your web page, or to motivate them to contact
you.

Now, let's create some signature files that sell.

Here are some examples of weak or boring signature
files:


- Make millions with my part-time business.

- Click here to visit my website at
http://www.reallyboringduplicatedsite.com

- I can change your lifestyle.


Here are some examples of more interesting
signature files:

- Click here to see a picture of the bonus
check I got in the mail last week.

- Click here to see if you can pass this
'fat test.'

- Whatever you do, don't click here.

- Click here to see a picture of my wife's
stomach.


Did you catch the magic words?

'Click here to see a picture of . . .' is
a great way to start your signature file. These
words direct your prospect to take an action.
And, remember our earlier lessons?

People love pictures.

In our next lesson, I'll show you how to get
your personal e-mails with your great
signature file distributed all over the
Internet. That way you'll reach prospects
that you could never reach before.

Write up an interesting signature file that
will send the reader to your personal web page,
or motivate the reader to contact you.

In today's lesson, you will learn the importance of how to capture your prospect's contact information so that you can follow up:

Welcome to Lesson #7 of the 'Big Al Internet
Sponsoring Home Study Course.'

In Lesson #6, we created a web page that showcased
our testimonials with interesting pictures.

Today we will create a different kind of web page
for our prospect to visit. It's a different type
of page, and probably my favorite page.

Today's web page theme is:

'Collect our prospect's email address
so we can follow-up.'

Most prospects do not join on their first exposure
to our products or opportunity. That is normal.

But if they fail to take advantage of the offer
at our web page, when will they return? Usually . . .
never.

So it is important that we collect the e-mail
address of our prospect so that we can remind our
prospect to come visit again, or to provide new
information to our prospect.

For most web sites, this is the single most important
reason to exist:

To collect a prospect's e-mail address.

How are we going to get our prospect to volunteer
his e-mail address?

Rewards. Incentives. Bribes.

Your web page can be simple, and should be simple.
If it is too complicated, your prospect might not
find your offer.

Here are some ideas to get your prospect to leave
their e-mail address:

1. Offer a free e-book.
2. Offer a free special report.
3. Offer a free newsletter subscription.
4. Offer an informational mini-course on
one of your products.
5. Offer to send a sample.
6. Offer to send an audio tape.
7. Offer a tele-class.

Now, once you have collected your prospect's e-mail
address, your autoresponder can help you keep in
touch with news of upcoming events, new
products, etc.


>> Homework:

Talk with your upline sponsor, or create your own
report or tool to motivate your prospect to leave
his e-mail address.

Network Marketing Recuiting=Big Al Internet Sponsoring Webpage Secrets

Big Al has been sharing fantastic information about how to do network marketing recruiting the right way on the internet.

Today's Big Al lesson will cover more powerful things you can do to create a webpage that prospects won't want to leave!

Welcome to Lesson #6 of the 'Big Al Internet
Sponsoring Home Study Course.'

In Lesson #5, we created a web page to get our
prospect excited about a benefit of our product
or service -- or our opportunity.

Today we will create a different kind of web page
for our prospect to visit. It's not a better page,
just a different page. I simply want you to be
aware that you can choose many different themes
for your web page.

Today's web page theme is:

'Have 'real life' testimonials of success
from new distributors or customers.'

Again, let's think in term of pictures or
graphics. We want to instantly grab our prospect's
attention when he visits our web page.

Sure, we could print quotes of people giving us
their testimonials, but that would be boring. Even
if we print the quotes in italics, print is
boring to web surfers with short attention spans.

Here are two quick ways to make our testimonials
come alive.

#1. Show the testimonial as a graph or chart.

This is easy. You can use bar charts, pie charts,
or even stack bags of chocolate to represent
results.

Some examples:

* If you sell nutrition, show a graph of lower
cholesterol or weight.

* If you sell skin care, show a bar chart of the
reduction of wrinkles.

* If you sell diet products, you could show a
chart of how many 5 lb. bags of potatoes your
weight loss represents.

* If you wanted to impress your prospect with the
extra income from your opportunity, show a map
with a 100-mile circle around your home. Tell
the prospect that this was your 'vacation radius'
before your opportunity. Then show a new map
that includes you sitting on a cruise ship in
the Caribbean.

People respond to graphic images.


#2 Show a picture of the person giving the
testimonial.

This is easy too. A real picture of a real person
gives your testimonials credibility. People enjoy
looking at pictures.

But remember what we learned in a previous lesson?

Instead of a picture of a head, we can make our
pictures come alive with action. So, whenever
possible, put a little personality into the picture.

I have a picture of me holding and staring down a
13-foot python. People remember that picture!

Now, when your prospect reads the testimonial, they
can associate the picture of a real person with the
benefits from the testimonial.

Again, we're only concentrating on the picture. In
later lessons we'll learn some copywriting
techniques for our personal web page.

In Lesson #7, we'll discuss the fourth type of
personal web page:

A form and reason for the prospect
to give us his e-mail address.

Grab your digital camera and get some action
pictures of happy customers and distributors
so your testimonials will have 'life.'

The tips that Big Al has been providing on how to sponsor successfully on the internet have been very practical and powerful. Our network marketing recruiting efforts now have gotten easier if we follow what Tom says.

Today's post will cover lesson #5.

In Lesson #4, we created a web page that bonded
the prospect to us. Our page would help create
that 'know, like, and trust' that influences our
prospect's decision to join.

Today we will create a different kind of web page
for our prospect to visit. It's not a better page,
just a different page. I simply want you to be
aware that you can choose many different themes
for your web page.

Today's web page theme is:

'Get the prospect excited about a benefit of our
product or service.'

Again, let's think in term of pictures or
graphics. We want to instantly grab our prospect's
attention when he visits our web page.

Some examples:

* If you sell telephone long distance, you could
show the picture of two long distance bills. Of
course, your bill would be much smaller for the
same calls.

* If you sell skin care, you could show close-up
photos of wrinkles being diminished or maybe a
picture of pedestrians turning their heads and
staring at someone's beautiful skin.

* If you sell diet products, you could show a
picture of you wearing 'oversized' clothes from
your old wardrobe. Or on a positive note, show a
picture of you at the mall shopping for new,
smaller clothes.

* If you sell vitamins, why not have a picture of
you crossing the finish line ahead of your
exhausted teenager?

* If you wanted to impress your prospect with the
extra income from your opportunity, show a picture
of your family packing the minivan to go on the
Disney vacation paid for by the part-time bonus
checks.

Now, it's your turn.

What picture or graphic could you use for your
web page that communicated a benefit of your
product or service?

Again, we're only concentrating on the picture. In
later lessons we'll learn some copywriting
techniques for our personal web page.

personal web page:

Have 'real life' testimonials of success from new

Network Marketing Recruiting-More Internet Prospecting Tips from Big Al

I hope you have been learning quite a bit from Big Al about how to use the internet for your network marketing recruiting efforts. In today's lesson, we will learn how to properly set up a webpage.

Here is what Tom, Big Al, Schreither, has to say:

In Lesson #2 we focused our strategy to
collect the e-mail address of our prospect
for future follow-up.

However, before we can collect or motivate
our prospects to give us their e-mail address,
we must give them a reason to do it. Prospects
do things for their reasons, not our reasons.

In today's Lesson #4, we will begin to create
a web page for your prospects to visit. We
want our web page to create interest or
pre-sell our prospects. Then we will collect
a very qualified e-mail address for future
follow-up.

We will create our own home page because the
replicated home pages from most networking
companies don't interest prospects. The pages
only interest the distributors.

So what should our web page do to interest
our prospect?

Here are some ideas for our home page that
we will discuss today, and over our next
three lessons:


1. Help the prospect bond with us. Create a
'know, like and trust' with our prospect.

2. Get the prospect excited about a benefit
of our product or service.

3. Have 'real life' testimonials of success
from new distributors.

4. And make sure there is a reason for the
prospect to give us his e-mail address.


Let's start with #1: Help the prospect bond
with us. Create a 'know, like and trust' with
our prospect.

I will give you an example of how to do this.
This example is not the only way, it's just
one way of accomplishing 'know, like and trust'
with a prospect.

It is easy to be rude to a 'faceless' stranger
over the telephone or by e-mail. However,
give the prospect a picture of yourself, and
it becomes almost impossible to be rude.

A picture is worth a thousand words. A picture
communicates feelings.

So we will accomplish 'know, like and trust'
by putting our picture on our web page.

However, we're not going to put a boring
picture of our head. We're going to do more
with our picture.

Maybe we'll put a picture of ourselves, our
spouse, our 2.5 children, and our dog
standing in front of our house. What does
this picture convey to the prospect?

Lots.

1. We are not some sleazy con artist.

2. We are a trustworthy family member.

3. We must be nice because the dog doesn't
seem to be abused.

4. We aren't hiding behind some mail box.
We are real people that the prospect
can talk to.

All of this is conveyed in the simple
picture. Neat, eh?

Now when you talk to a prospect over the
telephone, they feel bonded to you because
they have seen your picture.

Creating 'know, like and trust' is much
more important than product benefits or
compensation plan charts. Prospects join
people they feel comfortable with.

The competition can always add a percentage
point to make their plan look better. But
your competition will seldom take the time
to create a better relationship with a
prospect.

In conclusion, if your web page was only
about who you are, it would be effective.
You can always direct your new 'friend' to
another website to collect the facts and
figures of your program.

In our next lesson, we will discuss the
second type of web page:

'Get the prospect excited about a benefit
of our product or service.'

Look through your personal photo album and
find the picture or pictures that your
prospects will like. In a future lesson
I'll show you how to create some great
copy for your personal website.
