Finally Revealed: The Real Secret of Network Marketing Success

As a network marketer working to build your business, you are given lots of advice about how to do it. The truth is, network marketing isn’t what they tell you. Unfortunately, what happens is many of you end up believing what you are told, find no success, and then end up quitting in sheer frustration because it just doesn’t work!

You see, many network marketers (and you may be one of them), somehow come to believe that the business is just a numbers game just like direct marketing. You p probably have heard your upline, sideline, crossline, or whatever line tell you this.

The problem with using a direct marketing approach with network marketing is that it forces people to focus solely on recruiting. You have to become a non-stop recruiter machine. What happens to a non-stop machine after awhile? Yes, you are right, it burn out! With network marketing, you have to become a trusted and respected leader for your team.

The fact is, the secret of network marketing is viewing it as a relationship game. It is true that direct marketing is a numbers game, but MLM is far from it. Why? Because people are much more than numbers. They have goals, dreams, and desires. They are mothers, sisters, grandmothers, nieces, aunts, and so much more. Constantly trying to recruit people and not working on building relationships will result in sheer frustration, burnout, no success, and ultimately, you quitting your network marketing business.

As Michael Dlouchy says in his ebook, “Success in 10 Steps”, “There is only ONE way to build your spider web for life-long success. And that is to build relationships. To do that, you need to become a mentor with a servant’s heart. When you do, people ask you to please sponsor them into your business.”

As you can see, this is a 360-degree turnaround from the direct marketing “recruit” mindset. By building relationships, when you and your prospects work together to create a powerful team that is supportive with everyone helping each other out, it enable everyone to achieve the level of success they deserve.

The question you may have it how can this be done? How can I build a strong and supportive team that is all about relationships and not recruiting? The answer is simply to become a student. Learn about people. Study them. Build your network right for life. Then mentor and coach your team to do the same.

Get away from the “this is just a number” game mentality in your network marketing business. View your prospect and team members as people and help them achieve their dreams. This is the true secret to successful network marketing and knowing it will enable you to have the success you desire one and for all time.

How to Explode Your Network Marketing Prospect Base

As a network marketer, you know how important it is to drive traffic to your website. As a mater of fact, your very survival depends on it.

There is an often over-looked area of marketing that is ignored by many in network marketing. This area is offline marketing. While the Internet is a source used by many, there are also thousands of prospects that can be presented with your MLM business opportunity through offline sources. Here are eight offline strategies that you can use to expand your network marketing prospect, and, in turn, explode your business.

1. Use a small zip close bag and include, for example, the following in it:

a business card
a business opportunity flyer or mini flyer
a discount coupon
a mini flyer of current special

Hand our the baggies to bank tellers, retail cashiers, at your kids sport events, etc. In other words, everywhere you go! This is a quick and easy way to let folks know what you are about.

2. Print flyers with your contact information, your website address, and email address, along with any current specials you are offering. Then, contact mobile home park office, apartment complex rental offices, housing developments, etc., and ask for permission to leave flyers in their office or hand on tenant doors. You would also give the office employees a free gift or discount on your product or service.

4. Contact local bridal supply stores, bridal gown stores, caterers, tux rental centers, wedding DJ's, etc. When contacting them, ask if you can leave your business card with them as well as a flyer for their customers to pick up.

5. Don't overlook daycare centers! They are excellent places to contact and leave business cards and/or flyers. Make sure that for whatever company you represent, you find items that cater specifically to children or moms. Make sure your flyer clearly shows this.

6. Contact your local churches. A lot of churches hold spring and fall festivals, Christmas bazaars, plan special events around Thanksgiving, etc. Contact them about getting a table or booth. This is a very inexpensive way (generally less than $15 a table)to promote your network marketing business.

7. Connect with your local Chamber of Commerce. Many times they hold local business events that you can participate in.

8. Do you have a college in your town? If so, great! College students are always looking to lose weight, spend money, and for more ways to generate extra income. Remember, how broke you were in college? So, students are also great prospects for your MLM business opportunity.

As you can see, this is just a small list of endless strategies that you can use to market your business offilne as well as build a great MLM prospect list. Try one or more of these strategies to start off with, and watch your network marketing business explode!
