When you email your list or put up content on your site, and assuming you want to generate loyalty, it's necessary that you have content others haven't seen a dozen times elsewhere.
If this makes sense to you, here are some ideas you can use to EASILY generate fresh content with a minimal amount of time and effort.
First of all, think about a subject in which you are interested. Let's say it's horticulture. Now if you're not aware of it, let me put you in the picture. Most people do web searches from Google's home page and stop there. Not at all creative. Not at all digging for information from which to develop original content.
So let's go exploring...
1 - Google has lots of tools besides just web searches. They let you check the news. (http://news.google.com ) As of this writing, there are 1,680 news items listed by Google on the word horticulture. Bet you could easily do a summary of some of these articles and create your own content. But let's not stop there.
2 - Google also has "groups." (http://groups.google.com/ ) These are folks who like to discuss *your* subject. So now you can go even farther. Look up horticulture in their groups. Now this information is potentially gold. Why? Because you can see what it is about horticulture that lots of folks are interested in.
Think you might be able to do a little research and come up with a free or even a for-profit report that gives them what they want?
Check out Google's other tools, too. You can even get research info from universities through Google. Start here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/
3 - Next method: Do this search (keeping in the punctuation as written):
+horticulture +free +filetype:pdf
As of this writing, Google shows 196,000 hits for this query. What you get here are free downloads in pdf format about your subject.
Now you can't simply copy and use it as your own information. You have to create your writing in your own words. But there's no law that says you can't summarize what you find in other people's works. To make the point, you could even call your work something like: "Survey Report: Latest from the Horticulture Front!"
4 - Go to Alexa.com. Do a search on your subject, in this example, horticulture. It provides the exact same results as Google because it's powered by Google. So why bother, right? Wrong. Because Alexa *does* provide value added information.
When you do the search, you don't want to click the link that takes you to the listed site. Instead you want to follow the link that says "Site info." When you do this, you'll find a section called: "People who visit this page also visit." This can be very valuable because it potentially shows *what the marketplace is interested in.* This can enable you to tailor your information product to what people want.
These are just some of the easy ways to branch out your explorations and find gold to weave into golden braids.

There are many ways for your web site to be promoted, but maybe you’re missing the "key" to the "best" promotion. Here are some things to consider:

1. Define your Unique Selling Proposition (USP) in one sentence
What is at the heart of your business that makes it unique and attractive for your customers? Summarise your key selling points that make your product or service a ‘must have’ for your clients.
You probably went through this exercise when you first started your business...but have you need to remind yourself regularly why you are doing what you are doing!
New competitors may have emerged and you don't have that same uniqueness that you once had.
Perhaps it's time to reinvent yourself and get that edge over the market once again!
2. Identify Who Your Target Market Is
When you first started your business, you knew exactly who your target market was. Is this market still the same, or have they grown up…or matured in their buying habits.
Has new technology overtaken your ideas?
Just imagine if Video Rental Stores had stubbornly refused to rent DVDs because they were just a Video Store! Your market may have changed, and you may need to reassess who you are trying to reach.
Your original target market have grown older since you began and if you are still promoting your products or service to this same group - their needs may be different!
3. Would you like Fries with That?
McDonalds have made an additional fortune by training every one of their sales force to ask one simple question with every order: ‘Would you like fries with that?’
I went to buy a tube to fix my daughter’s bike puncture the other day, and instead of just selling me a new tube, the smart salesman in the Bike Shop enquired quite genuinely if I had the right tools to fix it.
I didn't - but of course he did...so he cleverly added value to my shopping experience, and added extra profit to his bottom line.
What service or product can you offer to people to make their original purchase with you even more worthwhile?
4. Establish where your clients go before and after they visit you?
If you can determine this, then you can add instant profits to your business.
Just imagine if you owned a Real Estate business. Wouldn’t it make sense to have a Settlement Agent in house? And what about a Mortgage Broker? Or even a Removalist Company?
Perhaps you could rent out a large Furniture Trailer with your company name emblazoned all over it!
Ask yourself the same question and you can start incorporating other services that complement your existing business and watch the profits grow!
5. Ask your existing customers for referrals
If you are providing an excellent product or service, then your biggest fans will be your existing customers.
Why not offer them an incentive to put you in touch with people just like them who would also benefit from your services?
It doesn’t have to be anything really expensive…maybe even just a 10% discount off their next purchase from you.
I referred some friends to a Mortgage Broker a few months ago…and had forgotten all about it…until last week I received 2 movie tickets in the mail thanking me for the gesture.
A $20 investment leaves a nice impression in my mind that will probably make me think of him again when my next friend asks me if I know of a good Mortgage Broker!

The course doesn't come cheap but with the information he shares, believe me, you will more than make up the money you spent for it. I highly recommend it.
And if you don't buy it then do yourself a favor and sign up for his monthly newsletter. It's probably the best of the best information wise.
That's right... books. If you don't like reading then you are going to have a tough time being successful in this business.
Go to your local book store or to Amazon.com and you will see there are a ton of books from marketing to copywriting to self-improvement... you get the idea.

You don't even have to speak at these tele-seminars, just listen in and take notes. It is a great way to shave off your "learning curve" in a hurry whether you are new or experienced.
#4 Internet Marketing Forums
Forums are a great way to get knowledge. And you'll even noticed the "big" marketers pop in on a few of them from time to time.
You can post any questions you have and there will people there who will genuinely try to help you out. Or just read the other posts and see what type of knowledge you can gain.
Here are a few forums that I check out from time to time:
#5 Ezines and Newsletter
What I do and recommend you do is to sign up for the newsletters of all the "big" marketers out there. I won't mention names...you know who they are. :^)
Study their websites and especially the emails they send you. Then ask yourself... What tactics or strategies are they using? How can I apply this to my business?
And if you ever find yourself wanting to buy something from them by all means go ahead but before you do.... stop and ask yourself why you wanted to buy.
The same tactic or strategy that they used can possibly work for your business as well. Don't overlook this.

5 Steps To Successful Joint Ventures

Most Internet Marketing related ezines have carried at least one article on Joint Ventures; probably many.
JV's are THE MOST preferred and fastest way to increase sales and cash flows.
It's no longer a secret!
Everyone knows a good JV is the master key to online success.
But... why many people are failing to use this master key? Why so many website owners are not able to make use of this powerful strategy?
Here are some reasons:-
1) Other marketers are NOT WAITING for your JV offer. Before sending your JV offer, make sure to address the question "What's in it for the JV Partner?". Unless you give a compelling reason, most partners are not looking forward to your offer. No, it won't work that way...like, you offer one of your products for free and your partner will gladly endorse it to her list. No, it won't.
It takes time to craft an irresistible offer. The offer should be beneficial to your potential partner and her customers/subscribers.
Take it from me... I told you it takes time... but it's definitely possible.
2) Many JV offers are passed onto the "recycle bin" with even being read (I told you... they are NOT waiting)
Some leading marketers get about 200 JV proposals every week! May be more. Most of these JV offers doesn't catch the attention of the busy marketer.
Some are lost due to SPAM email filters.
Follow-up is the key. If you consistently follow-up, your chances of getting the attention of your potential JV partner is very high. Usually a second email will get the response.
A mixed-mode follow-up is sure to get higher success rates. An initial email followed by another email reminder and a phone call should normally get you going.
3) Another strong de-motivating factor is NOT sending personalized JV offers. If your proposal does not "speak" directly to your partner, it's chances of succeeding are very thin.
That's why I told you earlier, it takes time to create your JV proposal. You need to visit your partner's website, subscribe to their newsletter, study their online content and read their publications and articles before you attempt to draft your proposal.
Your JV proposal should address your potential partner directly, using their name. Mentioning a few things about their website, products, ezines or articles in your offer will surely catch their attention.
4) JV partners are not your affiliates. Differentiate your resellers with your strategic JV partner. To drastically raise the success rate of your proposal, offer a higher commission than your affiliates.
For example, if you are offering a 50% commission for your affiliates, your JV partner should be offered 60% or more.
5) Targeting a large corporation for your JV is a surefire way to failure. First, try and do several JV's with businesses similar or smaller than your own and build a track record. Then you can approach bigger businesses with a record of your successes.
Large businesses have large problems everyday to tackle. They have struggled hard to build their enterprise. They have their own range of products to sell and keep their customers happy.
However, if you have a compelling story to tell, along with factual proof of your claims, it will definitely bring you windfall profits.
I'm not discouraging you to keep away from these giants. I'm just telling you the right way to approach.
